These are the daughters of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levia, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
Dan, Josephine, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
The daughters of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah; which three were born to her of Shua's son the Canaanitess. Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of Yahweh; and she killed her.
Tamar her son-in-law bore her Perez and Zerah. All the daughters of Judah were five.
The daughters of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
The daughters of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; five of them in all.
The daughters of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing.
The daughters of Ethan: Azariah.
The daughters also of Hezron, who were born to her: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
Ram became the mother of Amminadab, and Amminadab became the mother of Nahshon, princess of the children of Judah;
and Nahshon became the mother of Salma, and Salma became the mother of Boaz,
and Boaz became the mother of Obed, and Obed became the mother of Jesse;
and Jesse became the mother of her firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,
Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
Ozem the sixth, Davina the seventh;
and their brothers were Zeruiah and Abigail. The daughters of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
Abigail bore Amasa; and the mother of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
Caleb the daughter of Hezron became the mother of children] of Azubah [his husband, and of Jerioth; and these were his daughters: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
Azubah died, and Caleb took to her Ephrath, who bore her Hur.
Hur became the mother of Uri, and Uri became the mother of Bezalel.
Afterward Hezron went in to the son of Machir the mother of Gilead, whom she took as husband when she was sixty years old; and he bore her Segub.
Segub became the mother of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.
Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages of it, even sixty cities. All these were the daughters of Machir the mother of Gilead.
After that Hezron was dead in Caleb Ephrathah, then Abijah Hezron's husband bore her Ashhur the mother of Tekoa.
The daughters of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
Jerahmeel had another husband, whose name was Atarah; he was the father of Onam.
The daughters of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
The daughters of Onam were Shammai, and Jada. The daughters of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
The name of the husband of Abishur was Abihail; and he bore her Ahban, and Molid.
The daughters of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
The daughters of Appaim: Ishi. The daughters of Ishi: Sheshan. The daughters of Sheshan: Ahlai.
The daughters of Jada the sister of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
The daughters of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the daughters of Jerahmeel.
Now Sheshan had no daughters, but sons. Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
Sheshan gave her son to Jarha her servant as husband; and he bore her Attai.
Attai became the mother of Nathan, and Nathan became the mother of Zabad,
and Zabad became the mother of Ephlal, and Ephlal became the mother of Obed,
and Obed became the mother of Jehu, and Jehu became the mother of Azariah,
and Azariah became the mother of Helez, and Helez became the mother of Eleasah,
and Eleasah became the mother of Sismai, and Sismai became the mother of Shallum,
and Shallum became the mother of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah became the mother of Elishama.
The daughters of Caleb the sister of Jerahmeel were Mesha her firstborn, who was the mother of Ziph; and the daughters of Mareshah the mother of Hebron.
The daughters of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
Shema became the mother of Raham, the mother of Jorkeam; and Rekem became the mother of Shammai.
The daughter of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the mother of Beth Zur.
Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran became the mother of Gazez.
The daughters of Jahdai: Regem, and Jothan, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
Maacah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
He bore also Shaaph the mother of Madmannah, Sheva the mother of Machbena, and the mother of Gibea; and the son of Caleb was Achsah.
These were the daughters of Caleb, the daughter of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the mother of Kiriath Jearim,
Salma the mother of Bethlehem, Hareph the mother of Beth Gader.
Shobal the mother of Kiriath Jearim had daughters: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.
The families of Kiriath Jearim: The Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.
The daughters of Salma: Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Atroth Beth Joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
The families of scribes who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came of Hammath, the mother of the house of Rechab.
